2023: Charged Up

The 2023 Islander Robot was named "Mr. Crabs", after its large and distinctive claw and perhaps, because of its tendency to destroy said arm. This robot had the most complicated design and code. It also presented challenges in the assembly. Needless to say, we all learned a lot working on it.

The 2022 Islanders Robot was named "Daedalus".  At the 2022 North Star Regional, the team achieved a competition record of 7-3-0 in the competition and ranked 19 out of 53 teams.

Due to the COVID pandemic, the 2020 FIRST Robotics game was extended into 2021.  For the Islanders, all competition took place at the school in the Florance Center, which was a unique experience.  The robot was named "MACHO" and ranked 53rd out the 177 teams nationwide which competed in the Samarium group.

The 2019 Islanders robot was named Thiccums and competed in the North Star Regional, placing 42 out of 60.
